Dr Gil Mualem-Doron - Visual arts, workshops & research
Gil Mualem-Doron is an award-winning transdisciplinary artist, researcher, and curator based in Brighton, UK. His work delves into themes such as identity, migration, urban histories, and the legacies of colonialism, often employing participatory and collaborative methods. He holds a PhD in Architecture and has exhibited internationally, including at Tate Modern and the Turner Contemporary. He had solo shows at the People's History Museum - Manchester, Rich Mix, Art Depot, and P21 Gallery, London, Worthing Museum, as well as exhibitions in Germany, Spain, Brazil, South Africa, and Norway.
In 2016, he founded the Socially Engaged Art Salon (SEAS), a platform promoting underrepresented artists and socially engaged practices. His projects have received support from organizations like the Henry Ford Foundation, the Chevening Award for leadership, and the Arts Council England.

Lya Abdu Issa AKA BlkDimond - Dance & Choreography
Lya, known as BLK Diamond, is a dynamic dancer, choreographer, and instructor based in Brighton, UK. She leads the inclusive dance initiative Dance Like Everybody’s Watching, empowering individuals of all backgrounds to express themselves through movement. Her participatory sessions, often held in public spaces like Hove seafront, aim to foster confidence and community connection. Lya's work emphasises authenticity and self-expression, encouraging participants to embrace their unique identities.
Her Afrocardio classes and pop-up workshops have become integral to local cultural events such as Our City Dances, where she has been celebrated for inspiring collective movement and joy.
She has been a full-time performer and dance workshop leader for the past 10 years, working across several countries including China, Spain and Italy.

Daniel Sonabend - Music production
Daniel Sonabend is a London-based composer, music producer and sound artist. With a distinctive sound that blends contemporary classical orchestration, cinematic jazz harmony and innovative sound manipulation techniques, his music can be heard in a wide range of works, spanning across film, TV, documentaries, installation art and dance.
His music features in film, TV, documentaries, and installations, including Netflix’s Le Masque, Disney’s Cursed Gold, and BBC’s Cold Case Investigations. As a collaborator, he has worked with Martin Phipps, Natalie Holt, and Nainita Desai on projects including Napoleon (dir. Ridley Scott), Loki, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Journey’s End, The Crown (S6), Gun No. 6 (BAFTA winner), and Wildcat (Emmy nominated). Drawing on his British, Iraqi, and Jewish heritage, Daniel is a multi-instrumentalist whose sound art has been presented internationally.
